Baeblemusic premiered the video for "Hotel Parties" from the Futurebirds today! On the title track from Hotel Parties, Baeblemusic says, "the track itself is a gorgeous bit of Wilco via Dylan. The lead vocals combine a soaring falsetto with a distinct Southern drawl, and the folksy acoustic guitars match the yearning emotionality of the track itself."

Fraser Jones - a big fan of the band and NYU film student - created, starred and directed in the video while studying abroad in the Czech Republic. The video was shot entirely on 35mm film with his professors in the audience.
The video was shot in Prague and of the making of the video Jones shows his sense of humor stating, "I knew I wanted to fulfill a lifelong fantasy of tearing apart a hotel room and I always thought it would be funny to have professors watch me do so, and grade me for it." He continues, "shooting on film was as stressful and rewarding as you might imagine. There's only so much you can shoot so you have to be extremely efficient, since you can't help but hear money burning as the film continues to roll....In a way, this video is way of paying homage to the films and tv shows that inspired me, changed me, and made me who I am today. I spent so much of my childhood getting lost in the worlds presented in my living room television that I would often think, 'What if those characters actually came to life?' This video was really just a socially accepted form of me playing make believe for two days straight with some classic television characters coming to life just to keep me company."
